MP’s Message

Dear Boon Lay residents,

Thank you for the support and strong mandate that you have given to me and my team in the recent General Election. I am very mindful of the responsibility entrusted upon me. It is a privilege to serve all of you in Boon Lay. My team and I will undertake this task to the best of my abilities.

Over the next 5 years, we hope to demonstrate with concrete actions our commitment to improving the lives of all residents in Boon Lay. We are gearing ourselves for the work ahead. This includes upgrading the Boon Lay Community Club and the Boon Lay Shopping Centre, developing new estate amenities and facilities, looking after the elderly, helping the lower-income groups, engaging the young, as well as organizing more activities to build a strong and cohesive community.

At the same time, we recognize that basic issues like cleanliness and estate management remain a concern to residents. We will work closely with the Town Council to keep our estate clean and tidy, and to make Boon Lay an attractive place to live and work in.

We value your feedback and views in the course of our work. All of you have a stake in shaping the development of the estate. Hence, we will be organizing a series of dialogue sessions soon to engage all residents in Boon Lay. Since coming to Boon Lay in April this year, I have been deeply touched by the neighbourhood charm of Boon Lay, and the warmth of its residents. I look forward to working with all of you to build a brighter future in Boon Lay, and to make this place a special home for all!
